THE SHOW CASE FOR NICHE PRODUCTS

TUTTOFOOD NICHE PRODUCTS is the show case reserved by TUTTOFOOD for its exhibitors to show products defined as niche on the basis of three criteria:

  • Small volume production
  • Rare, superior and costly raw materials
  • Non-industrialized production process

The contest, aimed mainly at those companies who offer their products to specialist shops or high-class restaurants, has a number of purposes:

  • to give visibility to excellence in the food business
  • to protect traditional production processes in danger of disappearing in an increasing industrialized market
  • to support those companies that base their marketable differences on quality and not on price

The underlying theme in the selection process will be the concept of tradition, an element that is increasingly sought after by commercial circuits such as specialist shops and medium to high-end restaurants.

TUTTOFOOD NICHE PRODUCTS represents a great occasion for these categories. Visitors to TUTTOFOOD will be able to discover niche products from all over the world, taste them and assess their commercial potential.
Something new with respect to the first edition will be the jury, made up entirely of restaurateurs, specialist shop owners and food critics.
