AGREEMENT SIGNED BETWEEN TUTTOFOOD AND NASFT, ORGANIZERS OF THE FANCY FOOD SHOW, THE AMERICAN SPECIALITY FOOD INDUSTRY SHOW

The organizers of TUTTOFOOD had made a promise that the watchword for Fiera Milano’s food industry show would be internationalization, and that is exactly what it was. Following TUTTOFOOD’s debut, which brought numerous foreign professionals to Milan, the organizers announced that an agreement had been made with NASFT, America’s National Association for the Specialty Food Trade. The agreement was formalized with the signatures of the Fiera Milano President, Michele Perini and the Vice-President of NASFT, Chris Nemcheck.

If exchanges between buyers form one of the cornerstones of the agreement, the joint development of an Educational Program to run through 2008 and 2009, culminating in at the second edition of TUTTOFOOD, to be held in Milan from 10 to 13 June 2009, will also be of great interest to companies.
“From the start - says Fiera Milano President, Michele Perini – it was our intention to give TUTTOFOOD a distinctly international business character”.
“Fiera Milano was chosen - says Chris Nemchek, NASFT Vice-President – for its indisputable leadership in the trade fair sector. I am convinced that this agreement between NASFT and TUTTOFOOD will bring both greater knowledge about the respective markets and increased business to both organizations and all the other parties concerned.”

Also visibly satisfied was TUTTOFOOD Manager, Michela Fischer, who sees this as the first in a long series of steps that will put TUTTOFOOD on the cutting edge of food shows. “We worked for a long time to bring the agreement about, and I believe that this is an important goal both for us as organizers and for our companies. The American market is Italy’s second-biggest food export market. Being able to work with the American association that represents the trade is a great opportunity we couldn’t let slip past us”.
